kvCORE Alternatives for Real Estate Agents in 2026 (With Pricing)
Leaving kvCORE (BoldTrail)? Here are the realistic alternatives for real estate agents, what each one costs in 2026, and how to pick the right one for your team.
AymaneBy Aymane El Abiad · AI automation & real estate CRM specialist
kvCORE (now part of BoldTrail) is one of the most common real estate platforms, mostly because many brokerages hand it to their agents. But agents leave it for the same reasons again and again: it’s hard to customize, quotes add up as you grow, and it can feel like a lot of software for the few features you actually use.
I set up and automate real estate CRMs for agents and teams across Canada, including the GoHighLevel + Follow Up Boss system behind the #1 team on eXp Realty Québec. Here are the realistic alternatives, what they cost, and who each one fits.
Quick answer
- Best for teams and lead routing: Follow Up Boss
- Best for ads, funnels, texting and AI: GoHighLevel (set up for real estate)
- Best all-in-one with IDX website: Lofty or BoomTown
- Budget option: Wise Agent
- Website-first lead gen: Real Geeks

1. Follow Up Boss: the closest CRM replacement
If what you actually use in kvCORE is the CRM, Follow Up Boss is the most natural move. It’s built around getting leads to the right agent fast and making sure someone follows up: lead flow rules by source, action plans, calling and texting, and a large integration ecosystem. Agents tend to adopt it quickly because it’s simple.
The gap: no IDX website or ad funnels. You bring your own lead generation, or connect it to a system that creates leads.
2. GoHighLevel: the most control and the best for AI follow-up
GoHighLevel isn’t a real estate CRM out of the box. It’s a marketing automation platform that can become one: buyer and seller pipelines, home-valuation funnels, SMS and email workflows, calendars, review requests and an AI assistant that replies to new leads in seconds.
The gap: it starts as a blank canvas, so the result depends entirely on the setup. Usage (texts, calls, AI) is billed on top of the plan.
3. Lofty: an all-in-one with an AI assistant
Lofty keeps the all-in-one model agents like in kvCORE (IDX website, CRM, marketing) and adds an AI assistant. It suits agents who want one platform and don’t need heavy customization. Pricing is by quote.
4. BoomTown: lead generation and CRM as a package
BoomTown is aimed at teams that want lead generation, an IDX site and a CRM from one vendor. It’s powerful, but it’s also one of the most expensive options once setup fees, contracts and ad spend are included.
5. Wise Agent and Real Geeks: simpler or website-first
Wise Agent is a straightforward, affordable CRM for solo agents. Real Geeks makes sense when your strategy is an IDX website that captures and nurtures leads.
What Canadian agents should check before switching
- Your listing feed. If you want listings on your site, confirm the platform supports your board’s feed (CREA DDF, or Centris in Québec).
- Consent rules. Automated texts and emails must respect CASL, and provincial privacy laws (Québec’s Law 25, BC’s PIPA) add obligations.
- French. For Québec, your follow-up and AI conversations need to actually be written in French.
- Who owns the account. If your brokerage pays for kvCORE, confirm you can export your contacts.
My recommendation
Most agents leaving kvCORE don’t need another all-in-one. They need a CRM that follows up for them and a reliable source of leads. The combination that works best in my experience is GoHighLevel for ads, funnels, texting and AI, synced with Follow Up Boss for the team pipeline. It’s the setup I run for L’équipe Homère, the #1 team on eXp Realty Québec, where every lead gets a reply in under 5 seconds.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is the best alternative to kvCORE?+
For most teams, Follow Up Boss is the closest replacement for the CRM side, because it is built around lead routing and follow-up. If you mainly want ads, funnels, texting and AI under one roof, GoHighLevel set up for real estate is the most flexible. If you want another all-in-one with an IDX website, look at Lofty or BoomTown.
Is kvCORE the same as BoldTrail?+
kvCORE is now part of Inside Real Estate’s BoldTrail platform. Many agents still search for it as kvCORE, especially when their brokerage provides it.
How much does kvCORE cost?+
kvCORE / BoldTrail pricing is quote-based and is often negotiated by the brokerage, so there is no single public price. Compare quotes against the alternatives below before switching.
Can I move my contacts out of kvCORE?+
Usually yes, through a CSV export of your contacts. Check with your brokerage first if they own the account, then import into the new CRM and rebuild tags and smart lists before turning on automations.
Which CRM is cheapest to replace kvCORE?+
Among the tools in this guide, Wise Agent and GoHighLevel Starter have the lowest published entry prices. The cheapest option on paper isn’t always the cheapest in practice: add usage fees, setup time and missing features before deciding.
